Ok, we have the following fish in type events planned too
12 October - Inter Region Match vs Beds - Team of six required, have five and Roger Flatt (Joint RO) will captain the Suffolk 08 side. Tenner per anglers.
Suffolk PAC is having a fish in for existing PAC members on the Saturday 15th November 2014.
Venue will be the Gipping Angling Preservation Water, Barham B pit.
Meet up at 8am, fishing will then commencing from 8:30am - 4:00pm, and cost will be £5.00 per PAC member (valid PAC membership card will be required to be seen).
Lure or sea deadbaits only. Maximum of 2 rods per angler, GAPS rules for pike fishing apply.

2014/15 Suffolk PAC Meeting
Well planning for the Autumn/Winter season of PAC meetings is well under way.
We have a new venue, the Bramford Royal British Legion http://www.bramfordrblclub.co.uk/ and we are working on our list of speaks.
The meetings will be on the first Tuesday of each month starting on 7 October 2014 and concluding on the 7 April 2015. Times are 19:30 - 22:30.
Cost will be £4.00 for PAC members and £5.00 for non members
A full list of speakers will be out in the coming weeks.

Suffolk PAC will be raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis Trust during the 2014/15 Season.

Youngesters Get Hooked on Lure Fishing
Angling Trust coaches were on hand at Suffolk’s Needham Lake recently to support a junior lure fishing day.
The event was the brainchild of Pike Anglers’ Club liaison officer, Jason Skilton, Gipping Valley AC and Suffolk County AAA coach, Mark Brewster and Ron Dalton of the Lure Anglers’ Society.
Over three months’ planning and preparation saw more than twenty youngsters attend and the day showcased a particularly active and colourful side of our sport.
England lure squad members, Gary and Sam Edmonds were also part of the large team that provided tuition and advice to participants. They also gave instruction on how to handle, safely unhook and return the pike caught. Whilst fishing was difficult in the bright conditions, modest sized specimens were banked and the coaches were able to emphasize and reiterate the conservation aspect of pike and predator fishing.
Local youngsters Aston Lander and Max Rushbrook took home the main prizes for their catches and everyone left with a goody bag filled with pike and lure fishing magazines and DVDs. Afterwards, Jason and Mark thanked everyone involved, the event’s sponsors and GVAC and Mid Suffolk District Council for use of Needham Lake.
