Ireland piking update October '19

An update on a recent piking trip to Ireland earlier in October. Conditions were tough due to the tail-end of hurricane Lorenzo - gale force winds and heavy rain - but interspersed with a couple of decent days. Our usual spots on the Shannon were out of bounds due to the river being in the fields... so we shifted to some of the smaller and sheltered loughs in the area. We caught on most days with plenty of jacks, but also a few decent doubles. My best was 16.08 on a float-trolled smelt. Some cracking scenery and a great time with mates as always.

Adam Caulfield talk "The Young Guns"

Adam is what you see, "A Young Gun" catching serious Pike and clocking up the numbers and he will show off some of his most memorable catches

Suffolk PAC Junior Events 2017/18

Suffolk PAC will run levels 2 (Double) and level 3 (Twenty) junior coaching sessions this coming season 2017/18.

Venue is Alton Water, Holbrook, Suffolk.

The dates are:

• Saturday 15th October 2017 Level 2 (Double)
• Saturday 3rd March 2018 Level 3 (Twenty)

Time 9:30am-4.00pm

Juniors are aged between 6 and 16 years old.
